Shaving Cream {12 Days of Sensory Play}
For less than $1 you can have an amazing sensory play experience – no work to prepare and (believe it or not!) easy to clean up!
Day 9 – Shaving Cream
This is a favorite from my days working in preschool! Shake the can well and give each kid a pile of shaving cream. Great for tracing letters or practicing writing their name! I love to see the different personalities come out in their “style” of playing with this kind of sensory material! {Just check out the pictures above! Olaf with his Uncles and little Auntie! Were YOUR uncles and aunts your playmates like that?! Lucky dude!}
And the youngest one? He loved it too! The first place he put it? On his face, how appropriate!
Clean up with a basin of water for their hands and a wet cloth for the table… the shaving cream is just like soap. The only evidence you may be left with is a faint aroma on your children that reminds you of old men with cheap shaving cream! 🙂
