Moving the Shed

#CurrentHappenings from the last two weeks.  It’s been busy around here!!!

Who knew you could move a building??!  This is the relocation process, in pictures, of a 28’x14′ shed that Ben (pretty much single-handedly) moved to our new place.img_20161106_151441 img_20161107_105649 img_20161107_105616

Going home. 🙂image image

The spot that we wanted to place the building was going to be the entrance for all the big trucks to get back to the septic area FIRST.  So while it sat on the trailer, a large area back in the woods got cleared for the septic, and the whole system got installed.

In just two weeks, this is the progression that happened in this space!  Find your bearing by following “that tree” in every picture:

To give you perspective, there’s “that tree” to the right of the backhoe:img_20161121_120145

There were a lot of big bonfires from all of the branches!img_20161108_165853 image image

And there it is!  Ben worked late into the night, and got it down just in the nick of time before rain and more snow which made the whole yard a muddy mess.  With the septic done {post coming soon}, and the shed in place, we’re ready for winter to come! 😀image

I need to get a better picture in the daytime.  With it getting dark by 5:30pm, many work hours happen after dark, and I feel like that’s when all the final pictures are taken. 😛

We are so excited and blessed to have an outbuilding!  Finally, we have a covered place to put our lawnmower, tools, boards and house building materials!  We’re stoked!!!
