Make Your Own Snow {12 Days of Sensory Play}

Play in the snow in your jammies?  Yes, please!

Day 2 – Make Your Own {fake} Snow!

1 C baking soda

1/4 C conditioner (I used shampoo; I’ve heard the thickness of conditioner might even work better!)

Optional: food coloring  (A few more drops of blue could have made this “Frozen” themed!)

Get the clumps out of the baking soda and add the food coloring to the shampoo/conditioner FIRST, before mixing all together.  This recipe could easily be doubled if you have multiple kids or just want a larger batch!

Cool to the touch, this “snow” can be molded and sculpted… and it cracks and crumbles too, much like real snow!

“Snow” much fun!  Even though the picture is blurry, you can tell it was a hit!
