A Visit from ‘Grandpa & Grandma China’

Grandpa and Grandma came from China bearing belated Christmas gifts, one of an airplane, just like they flew on to get here…Lots of pretend baking cookies…
And real baking birthday cake!How special is it to have BOTH your Grandmas here for your birthday???!Squeezing in as much time with them as we can, from the moment they woke in the morning – doing every “thing” with Grandma and Grandpa – all the way to bedtime Bible stories at night.Seeing the house in the middle of the drywall process.  Always a highlight to tour guests and show off Ben’s hard work for our family!3 generations!  And 8 months pregnant with the next girl as well, only we didn’t know her gender at the time!  (If you’re on mobile this last picture may be flipped sideways, so sorry!) 

Special, special memories, as always!  We can’t wait for you to come back this summer and bring the WHOLE family!!!!

P.S. I’m having fun with experimenting with an all-the-rage InstaPot that was our lovely gift!  So far I’ve used it to make yogurt, meats and soups.  It saves me when I don’t get supper started soon enough and have only 40 minutes to get a whole chicken cooked… ha!  (afflink)
