A great crew of 9 guys (including Ben) helped Saturday morning haul the more than 8,000 lbs of sheetrock into the house when it was delivered.  Then there was a big french toast, sausages and eggs party for lunch!  Thank you all!!  {And I did my first ever FB live video… I was so nervous, but it was actually fun!}

This journey we’ve been on to rebuild this house has been going on for 6 years now.  {Yes, there have been breaks, years we’ve mostly been just saving $$, looking at other houses, questioning if God wanted us to have this house, almost giving up on it multiple times…}  But now, here we are.  The drywall feels like it’s the beginning of the END!  It’s getting so close.  It’s emotional, and so, so exciting!

It’s taken a long time.  But I had an encouraging thought the other day.  Jesus went back up into heaven to prepare a place for us – build us rooms and a house in that huge mansion.  He’s been at it a long time too.  And the longer it is before he comes back, the more time he has to work on it.  Our final home is going to be niiiiiice because he’s been gone a long time!  And the longer our house takes, the nicer it’s going to be in the end. 😉

John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
